In addition to well established events like Generali Open (one of the world largest tennis tournaments), Alpenrallye (an old timer car race) and Kitz-Alp-Bike (a bicycle tournament), Kitzbühel is the place to go if you love mountain biking or playing golf. The town itself has four golf courts with 19 additional courts in the adjoining area.

If you want to fully enjoy the area’s beautiful nature, we recommend trekking. The roads for trekking consist of 300 kilometre altogether. There is a track for everyone, regardless how fit or how demanding you are! If you want to start trekking at dawn or if you prefer to take the cable car up to top of the mountains we promise you an unforgettable view once you have reached the top!

Biking in Kitzbühel has also become enormously popular. A network of 750 kilometres of roads and paths dedicated to biking is covering the mountains and valleys throughout the area. A ride through the beautiful scenery makes the hearts of biking fans beat faster! Just get on the bike, head for the mountains and you will inevitably get carried away……
